Our eldest, Elliot, went to an 8th birthday party at Matlock Lido this afternoon (Happy Birthday, Jack!).
The Lido, which was opened in May 1938, has about to year to go until it closes as a new Leisure Centre and pool opens on Dimple Road in Matlock.
Elliot, Olivia and I went for a day trip to Sheffield.

We went to Denby to buy a replacement platter for one which had recently been broken.

What an awful event, full of really revolting people.
A great shame. I guess an event raising funds for an animal welfare charity that has a beefburger and hotdog stall has to be questioned...
