I'm intrigued if anyone can guess what this is....
Yesterday, after swimming lessons, I took Elliot and Olivia to the local library to get some books. Elliot decided he wanted to take out an audiobook as well as some reading books. He was trying to decide between a Mr. Majeka audiobook and a Doctor Who one until he saw "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" ready Stephen Fry.... all 20 CDs of it! This is a photo of the case in which the CDs come!
The Matlock Under 9s warming up before their triangular tournament against Loughborough and Melbourne.
I went for a hot chocolate at Costa Coffee in Buxton while Elliot was at Youth Theatre....
Elliot and Olivia's Money Pots!
This is a photo taken of a little blob at the bottom of my lava lamp and then processed to within an inch of its life. I rather think it looks like something from outer space!
I went on a course at the College Street Arts Centre in Nottingham today. Just at the end of College Street there is Nottingham Playhouse and outside that there is Anish Kapoor's Sky Mirror.
This is my computer desk!!
This is a staircase in the main building at MOSI in Manchester... looking down!
The latest craze amongst 9-year olds who are starting to get too cool for Club Penguin but aren't quite grown up enough for teenage interests! A bit like Pokemon and a Tamagotchi (I think) but online!
This is the cover of one of my Christmas presents... a book about IKEA's Billy bookcases! (yes, really!)
I gave Tracy the T mug for Christmas... today I got the R mug!
Yes, this is the kitchen light shining into our kettle!
This is the music corridor at Lady Manners School where I work 3 days a week. It's actually a vivid orange colour! On the left are 4 practise rooms used by our multitude of peripatetic instrumental teachers and on the right are 2 classrooms and then the music office. I spend a daft amount of my life walking up and down this corridor!
This is a wicker work lampshade in our hall....
For most, today is the first day back to work or school after the Christmas and New Year holidays...
Today is the last day of the school holidays. We went for a trip to Sheffield and visited Weston Park Museum on Western Bank. Not sure why we've never been there before, what a fab place!
Trying to empty the house of alcohol and fattening food before healthy living and diets starting with termtime so tonight it's cava!
New Year's Day Jelly!
