We went for a day out to Stourhead in Wiltshire. Lovely place. If you haven't been it's definitely worth a visit!
At the end of the visit we took a look into St. Peter's Church, Stourton and saw these bell ropes.
We met up with my brother-in-law and his children at the Fisherman's Walk beach at Southbourne in Bournemouth.
Some ventured right in whilst others just paddled.
We went kite flying at Hengistbury Head before a walk along to Mudeford Spit and then the Noddy Train back.
We went to Christchurch for a wander around the quay and a boat trip up the River Stour.
As usual, there were lots of ducks and swans there.
Today was the last night of this summer's Friday night fireworks in Bournemouth. The balloon continues throughout the evening and gets lit up. There's even a special flight at 10 p.m., with champagne, for those who want to watch the fireworks from the balloon.

I was driving around planning a Treasure Hunt for the staff at my school. I stopped at Edensor Church and was faced with several sheep wandering around between the gravestones.
Olivia and I played with her torch to create some Halloween-type photos.
I guess this was an obvious thing to do....
We went to Chester for the day to track down the rhinos!
Until mid-September there are 62 large artist-decorated rhinos and well over 100 smaller ones (decorated by local schools).
Elliot, Olivia and I went to Hardwick Hall today but hadn't realised it doesn't open on Mondays and Tuesdays.
